UTM experience

October 19, 2020! My first class at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. The class was online, of course! We have to use the blackboard website for classes.

Face-to-face classes were not possible due to pandemic situation. Each student has to attend classes from their own country. It was a new experience for everyone! Attend classes in a foreign university sitting at home! A different feeling! Of course, I had to go through a lot of advantages and disadvantages. Net problems, sound problems, website problems and many other problems have to be faced from time to time. There were also minor problems during the submission of the assignments or exam answers. Even so, the classes were amazing. Teachers are very sincere and helpful. They try their best to help students in any matter. My classmates are all very good too. We have students from about 10+ countries in our class. Everyone from different society, different cultures. But that doesn't matter in friendship. Everyone chats together on WhatsApp, whether it's study purpose or some fun chat. Although still I am not well acquainted with all the students due to online system. But inshallah, when we will meet face to face, we will have a good friendship.

I am really happy to have the opportunity to study at such a good university like Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. It took me one step further to fulfill my dream. Inshallah I will study at UTM and build myself as a worthy person and will devote myself to the service of my country and the nation!
